I am a middle aged woman who thinks gardening is 'green magick' (spelled with a 'k' on purpose to differenciate between the parlour trick type of magic) and consider myself a life-long student of the art and science of gardening. In recent years I've come to realize how political gardening is, keeping in mind some pressing issues in today's food production. There are very many parallels to gardening and the average person's life. My husband and I live in rural British Columbia, Canada.
